‘Stranger Things’ Star Has Summer Job at LBI Restaurant

If you are eating at Bird & Betty’s in Beach Haven, LBI this summer and the guy serving you looks familiar, there's a good reason.  It could well be Gaten Matarazzo from Netflix's Stranger Things.

The Hollywood Reporter says that while season four of Stranger Things is shot down because of the pandemic, Matarazzo — a.k.a. Dustin Henderson — is working as a runner at a restaurant on Long Beach Island where other family members are employed. Apparently even a hat and mask wasn’t enough of a disguise to fool some customers. Matarazzo grew up near by in Little Egg Harbor.

The Hollywood Reporter doesn't say the name of the restaurant, but members of his family are known to work at Bird & Betty’s in Beach Haven, and the restaurant's Instagram feed featured a shot of the 17-year-old actor earlier this summer.

The Philadelphia Inquirer also points out that Matarazzo's band,Work in Progress, which also includes his brother Carmen and sister Sabrina, have previously played at Bird & Betty’s.
