If you need to forget about all of the troubles in the world and you just want to have some fun, or you want to work at a place that's really fun, the new Dave & Buster's in South Jersey will be opening in just a matter of weeks.

According to their website, Dave & Buster's at the Gloucester Premium Outlets along Route 42 will be opening on December 7th. Between now and then, they are looking to fill every position available.

A list on their corporate website says they are currently hiring customer service representatives, servers, line cooks, janitorial staff, dishwashers, bartenders, and more.

42freeway.com reports the new Dave & Buster's was originally set to open in May, however COVID-19 obviously interrupted those plans.

Rumor's of this adult playland coming to our region first began to surface over two years ago. In May, 2019, David Mayer, the Mayor of Gloucester Township, confirmed to the Courier-Post that the chain would be coming to the Gloucester Premium Outlets. Mayer said, "We're very, very excited. It's highly visible, easy to get to. This is terrific for our community, really for the entire region. This will bring thousands of people into our town to spend their money here and grow our economy."

The new building is said to be about 40,000 square feet in size and is easily accessible from Route 42 at the western end of the Atlantic City Expressway. Renderings of what the inside of the building will look like can be viewed at 42freeway.com.
