No doubt, you're as busy as a bee prepping for the Thanksgiving shindig. Cooking, cleaning, baking, you probably don't even have a second to breathe! If you're looking for a way to save at least some sort of time on Thanksgiving day, you could start by maybe leaving out the most unpopular side dish from the meal.

Sure, this won't give you a huge chunk of time back, but any little bit helps, right? Of course, it's of no help at all to you if you're not preparing the food. However, I think you're still in for a huge surprise when you find out which Thanksgiving side dish South Jersey can't stand.

Joe and I posted the question to both of our Facebook pages and were SHOCKED by the answers. For those of you that voted mashed potatoes, I'm sorry, but they will forever be a staple on the Thanksgiving feast menu and I pray that I will never have to see the day that they aren't.

Taking into account both of our Facebook pages, it turns out that South Jersey hates TWO of the side dishes featured. It's a tie between Cranberry Sauce and Sweet Potato Casserole.

Now, me personally, I love them both. Not a huge fan of the sweet potato casserole thingy with marshmallows on top, but candied sweet potatoes, I think, are absolutely delicious. Cranberry sauce isn't too shocking. If I'm honest, that's the side I would've predicted everyone would've voted off.

It is nice to know, however, that the majority of the region hates sweet potatoes with marshmallows just as much as I do. Can't speak to cranberry sauce though, since I love it fresh or canned. YUM.

Have a Happy, Safe, and Healthy Thanksgiving!
