ShopRites across South Jersey are accepting donations to send care packages for our soldiers overseas.

South Jersey Local News reports, thanks to a partnership between Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey (OYRSJ) and local supermarkets, soldiers can receive help with their weekly grocery shopping.

The Ravitz Family, who owns ShopRite, do this every year to raise funds and make donation for care package items.

So from now until Fourth of July, Ravitz's family markets and five ShopRite stores are collecting donations for troops in Afghanistan, Iraq, Jordan and other areas in the Middle East.

Customers are able to donate as they check out their items.

OYRSJ remind people that soldiers things that remind them of home, and showing we care makes a big difference.

For a full list of the most sought items visit OYRSJ on their website.
