South Jersey Pub Might Be Replaced with a New Wawa Store
A South Jersey pub may make way for an even more popular convenience store we all know and love, by the name of Wawa.
According to Courier-Post, representatives at Wawa are currently seeking approval to build a new location where Clancy's Pub in Woodbury-Glassboro is.
The plan is to go before Mantua's planning board on July 19th to discuss plans for a new Wawa food market and gas station.
Neither representatives from Clancy's or Wawa have made comments on the potential demolishment of Clancy's for thew new Wawa.
According to Courier-Post, the owner will be looking to relocate and open a new establishment. Aside from this location, Clancy's also owns pubs in other areas like Brooklawn, Ocean City and Somers Point.
Its also mentioned, Wawa is looking to open four other superstores in the following areas: Cherry Hill, Cinnaminson, Somerdale, and Lindenwold.
I guess we will have to wait and see if the plan follows through.
