A New Jersey lawmaker has come up with an idea to encourage more people to 'Do AC' and boost revenue for Atlantic City:  Permit alcoholic drinking on the beach and boardwalk.  Is this a measure you'd like to see passed?
N.J. state senate Republican leader Tom Kean made the suggestion this week to Governor Chris Christie's office as a theory on what it might take to revive the gambling resort, 6abc.com reports.

Kean wants to see Atlantic City loosen up about allowing open containers of alcohol.
He thinks the measure would allow visitors to move from one beach or Boardwalk bar to another, and would put AC on par with tourist destinations like Las Vegas.
