Seaside Heights Set New Rules and Regulations for Cleaner Beach
Seaside Heights has discovered a new way to clean their beaches and it involves these new rules and regulations.
According to reports, Seaside Heights wanted to make their beaches more attractive to beach goers and tourists. So, how do they intend on doing so?
The Seaside Heights Borough Council have voted to ban cigarettes and e-cigarettes on the beach in addition to size regulations on coolers, umbrellas and baby tents. That's not all, either; they intend on setting regulations prohibiting the feeding of wild animals as well as instituting new beach and boardwalk hours.
The beach will close 6 p.m. weekdays, and 9 p.m. on the weekend, whereas the boardwalk will be closed between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m.
This new set of regulations come about as a result of resident complaints. So, hopefully with these new regulations Seaside Heights will see a change in their beach's appearance.
