Ryan Reynolds + Blake Lively’s Kids Do Exist, Make First Public Appearance
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have remained vigilant about shielding their children from the public eye -- they haven't even released the name of their second daughter, who was born in September. But it turns out their kids do, in fact, exist, as the entire family was photographed together for the first time ever today (December 15).
Blake and the couple's two daughters were on hand to support the Deadpool actor, who received his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, according to PEOPLE.
“I want to thank my wife, Blake, who is sitting right there, who is everything to me,” Reynolds said in his short acceptance speech.
"You are the best thing, the best thing that has ever happened to me — second only to this star,” he continued. “...You make everything better, absolutely everything in my life better. You’ve made me the father of my dreams when I thought I only had fun uncle potential.”
Lively commented on the couple’s penchant for privacy earlier this year, explaining why they hadn’t shared any photos or details of their first daughter with the public.
“We knew the lifestyle we were getting into, and while it’s hard…it’s another thing when it’s our child. She didn’t have the opportunity to make a decision about what she wants,” the former Gossip Girl actress said in the July 2016 issue of Marie Claire. “Ryan had a nice, normal upbringing, and we want our kids to have the same normal life that we had. We don’t ever want to rob them of what we had, because we’d feel really selfish.”
