As the attempt toward normalcy in South Jersey continues after the storm, word has come out surrounding the Federal Emergency Management Agency arriving in Atlantic County -- this story is completely False!

Linda Gilmore, the Public Information Officer for Atlantic County, has informed SoJO 104.9 that residents have been calling to say that they have heard FEMA is in Atlantic County and providing food vouchers to residents who were impacted by the June 30th storm.

As of right now, there has been no federal declaration issued, and therefore no decision regarding any associated voucher program.  Should this change, word will come from Gilmore's office.

FEMA in Atlantic County is just a rumor - follow SoJO 104.9 here for more details as they become available.
