Phillip Phillips on SoJO Tomorrow With Heather DeLuca

He is this year's champion of American Idol, and his sound is hauntingly similar to Dave Matthews - interesting coincidence that SoJO is having a "Hot Ticket Tuesday" for DMB in concert, and that Phillip Phillips is going to be on SoJO tomorrow as well.

Between Noon-1pm on Tuesday with Heather DeLuca, Phil Phillips will be the guest on the All-Request Drive-Thru.  Phillips has been on fire since the series finale as his first single is setting records.

Phillips first release "Home" is the highest-debuting song on this past week's Digital Songs chart, bowing at an impressive #2 with 278,000 downloads - that number is also large enough to give Phillips the second-best digital-sales week ever for an Idol contestant.  Only the original "American Idol," Kelly Clarkson, can boast a bigger digital sales week ("My Life Would Suck Without You" debuted with 280,000 downloads in January 2009).

Phillips has entered the Billboard Hot 100 chart debuting at #10, making him the first Idol in four years to see his victory single reach the top 10.
