North Wildwood or Angelsea? – Residents to Decide [POLL]
According to the Press of Atlantic City, residents will decide in November whether or not they want their part of the barrier island to stay 'North Wildwood.'
Last month, more than 100 people signed a petition to change the borough name to Anglesea, which it was originally founded as in 1885.
The city council responded Tuesday by unanimously voting in favor of adding a local referendum over the borough's name.
This is not a first in Jersey. In 2004 South Belmar in Monmouth County voted to distinguish itself by calling themselves Lake Como.
