This New Jersey State trooper's good deed was caught on camera as he bought dinner for a couple in need.

Trooper Sean Wallace was responding to a complaint about a man asking for change outside a foodstore in Hainesport Township.

When Wallace arrived to the scene, the man explained he needed food for him and his wife. Then what happens next just warms my heart.

On his body camera video, you can see Wallace taking the man to a store to buy him dinner. DINNER! Reading stories like this among so many bad ones honestly restores my faith in humanity.

Mind you, Wallace is still a rookie on the job and has been a trooper for less than year.

Other NJ State Troopers had nice things to say about him on NBC10, saying Wallace "“handled this situation like a 20-year veteran with a heart of gold.”

Three cheers for this young man!
