There are many "answers" floating around out there. They range from a lack of employees to move products to shipping delays.

As a manager in a grocery store, I can tell you all, that the shortages are all related to staffing issues in all the manufacturers' warehouses. Production on a LOT of items has completely stopped, due to a lack of workers. It has trickled down to stores and our warehouses. They have to pull workers from one production line, to help others, trying to make the products that are higher in demand. It also results in increased prices, of which our stores have no control over. Stores are seriously understaffed as well, and we are all doing our best, to keep our customers happy. I hope this helps. And please, be kind to your retail workers, who are doing the best they can, with what they have.
