Are all your weekends leading up to Christmas booked up already?

Well, if you're a long-time South Jersey resident, you might have to make some room on your calendar for this one. The annual Egg Harbor City Christmas Parade will officially be returning once again for 2021.

According to a recently created Facebook event, this year's parade will be held on Saturday, December 18th. You'll want to secure your spot by 6 p.m. that day.

There is, however, something that parade-goers from years past will want to check out beforehand, though. There's a new parade route this year! Pictures of the route have been shared to a Mays Landing Facebook group that shows the parade kicking off on London Avenue near the Egg Harbor City Police Department, then making a right onto Claudius Street. The parade will continue on Claudius Street until it makes another right onto Philadelphia Avenue. From Philadelphia Avenue, the parade will turn right onto Arago Street and then another onto Liverpool Avenue.

You're invited to join in the fun however you wish. If you've always wanted to be in the parade, but have never acted on it, maybe this year's the time to create that holiday float you've had in your mind for years now.
