When a New Jersey mom placed an order with Amazon for diapers, this isn't what she meant.

Nassly Sales, a mom of two from Jersey City, received a package of diapers that were already soiled, according to CBS Philly. Yep, the OPPOSITE of brand new.

Not to mention, she has a preemie-born baby at home who's immune system is still highly compromised, making the experience of being near contaminated items like those dirty diapers so scary.

Sales reportedly ordered the diapers from the Amazon Warehouse section of the shopping site, where previously opened and returned items are sold for less.

Still, a reasonable person still expects items such as diapers to be unused, no matter the discount. GROSS. This is beyond a 'you get what you pay for' situation.

For their part, Amazon released a statement saying, "We work hard to provide customers with a great experience and deeply regret that this situation did not live up to our high standards. We worked directly with the customer to address this situation.", Patch.com reports.
