New Jersey Frozen Carnival Takes Ice to Another Level
Time for a road trip! It's bitterly cold, so we might as well make the best of it. Look no further than "Frozen In Ice."
Frozen in Ice is a massive ice sculpture attraction at the Skylands Stadium Event Center in Augusta, NJ. Full disclosure, I've never heard of Augusta until this writing. It's in northwest Jersey just north of Sparta and Newton near the Delaware Water Gap.
This year they're doing a Wild West theme and between the indoor and outdoor events, they have used over 100 tons of ice! It's perfect for kids and adults. And I mean, c'mon who wouldn't want to try this 50' ice slide!
You must be 36" or over to ride this ride, but there's a smaller slide for the little ones.
Other features include an 'ice candy' shop. You can enjoy an adult beverage in their ice saloon, play ice carnival games, wander the ice maze, skate on the outdoor rink and then warm up at the fire pit and make s'mores.
Plus, there are the jaw-dropping ice sculptures too!
The event only runs on select dates through February. Don't miss out!
