New Jersey Drivers Get A Shockingly Good Grade In Study
Despite what you see each and every day on the roads of the Garden State, it turns out that New Jersey drivers aren't that bad after all, at least not according to one published study.
If you are to believe what one report says about the states with the rudest drivers, you may have to start believing things like "maybe that lady was telling me I was #1" or "it IS possible that guy who cut me off didn't see me".
We are being asked to disregard what our eyes see, our ears hear, and every bone in our body tells us. We are being told New Jersey drivers aren't that rude after all.
As a matter of fact, if the results provided by Bank Rate are to be believed, there are 20, yes 20, states in this nation with ruder drivers than we have right here in the Garden State.
Am I the only one that feels a little disrespected here? I was brought up to believe that true New Jersey drivers have a certain edge, attitude if you will, about them, and no one should mess with a New Jersey driver.
And now that core belief is being brought into question in a study that alleges that we are only the 21st rudest drivers in the nation. Why I never!
We don't like to hear we're the rudest, but putting us in the middle of the pack is a little hurtful, don't you think?
I mean, we're 8 places behind Rhode Island. Come on, we can out-rude Rhode Island any day of the week. Not according to this study, however.
In case you were wondering, California has the rudest drivers. Let them deal with the stress and anxiety of rudeness. Here in New Jersey, we'll be spending the day on the Parkway explaining pleasantries and maybe a few recipes.
