New Jersey Breweries Unite to Form Non-Profit to Aid Service Industry

With so many of their own employees unable to work right now, craft breweries in New Jersey have united to ease the burden by establishing the Brewery Strong non-profit.

It was an idea of Bob Callaghan, who runs sales at Tuckahoe Brewing Co. in Egg Harbor Twp. after being inspired by ABC's World News Tonight 'America Strong' segment. Brewery Strong is raising donations to assist unemployed and furloughed service industry workers struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic.

So far, Brewery Strong has managed to raise $15,000, according to Courier Post.
