As April showers bring May flowers, summertime at the Jersey Shore always seems to bring new options to eat.

This summer will be no different as we are beginning to see some new eating options popping up down the shore, with one new spot in Stone Harbor.

Formally Marabella’s at 9426 3rd Ave, will be a new spot called Rubia Tapas, which says they will feature savory small plates with Multicultural Cuisine on their Instagram account.

While there is no official opening date, they will open at some point this summer. Debbie Howell, who owns Empanada Mamas food truck in West Cape May, will be taking over the space.

Marabella’s opened in 1972 and after 50 years of serving Stone Harbor, owner Angelo Marabella officially retired and sold the property.
