The types of businesses that are being forced to close due to coronavirus in New Jersey continues to grow.

The latest domino to fall are personal-care businesses, like hair and nail salons, spas, tattoo shops, and social clubs.

At a press conference Thursday afternoon, Gov. Murphy ordered those types of businesses to close at 8:00 tonight and they will remain closed until further notice.

While speaking, Murphy announced 318 new coronavirus cases in New Jersey, bringing the official total for the state to 742. Four new deaths have been reported, which brings the total to nine.

Atlantic County announced its first three positive cases yesterday along with one in Cape May County. Those numbers did not increase Thursday.
