Clearly, the entire country spent Tuesday night distracted by the outcome of the 2020 Presidential Election. However, if you played the lottery yesterday, particularly Mega Millions, you could be holding a winning ticket.

Let me get you caught up. After no one came up a winner after Friday night's drawing, there was $118 million left unclaimed. By the time Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing rolled around, the jackpot was up to $129 million with a solid $99.5 cash option, according to NJ.com. I could live on that, lol.

Reportedly, a $10,000 ticket tied to Friday night's drawing was sold at a QuickCheck convenience store in Sayreville, New Jersey, up in Middlesex County. But we haven't heard about any local winners stemming from last night's drawing...yet. It could darn well be YOU. Over the weekend, the New Jersey Lottery reported that two Garden State residents each picked up $50,000 playing the Powerball jackpot.

Here are the Mega Millions numbers from Tuesday night's drawing: 7, 31, 44, 45 and 55. The Mega Ball was 19, with a Megaplier of 3x.

And, in case you purchased a ticket on Friday and missed those winning numbers, they were: 14, 19, 34, 39 and 59. The Mega Ball was 11, with a Megaplier of 2x.

Now, according to NJ.com, the odds of you holding a Mega Millions ticket matching all five numbers and the Mega Ball are 302,575,350 to 1. But, players have a 1 in 12,600,000 shot to win at least $1 million by matching those five numbers, even without the Mega Ball or Megaplier. I like those odds MUCH better.

I've actually started playing the lottery a lot more lately. I think 2020's just bringing out the YOLO in me. 'Gotta be in it to win it', as they say.

Good luck!
