Watch our first-ever conversation with singer/songwriter Lewis Capaldi.

Ever since 23-year-old Lewis broke onto SoJO 104.9 with his smash hit ballad 'Someone You Loved', which was nominated for the 'Song of the Year' Grammy Award earlier this year, we've been dying to meet him. He was due to tour this spring and summer with Niall Horan of One Direction, but those plans got scrapped when the COVID-19 pandemic.

So, thanks to Capaldi's record label Capitol Records, we were able to finally connect with him over Zoom. Watch my virtual chat with Lewis Capaldi below, as we catch up from across the pond about his time in quarantine, his newfound fame, and his plans for when he finally breaks out of his parents basement.

Isn't he just the cheekiest? He's basically won every major award a new artist can win in the U.K., and he has the respect of some really established peers, and he's still so chill and friendly.
