Man Charged For Killing 4 in Ohio Now Charged For 2013 Camden, NJ, Murder
Authorities say a man who has been charged for killing four earlier this year in Ohio has now been charged for killing a person in Camden County nearly a decade ago.
According to WEWS-TV, 41-year-old Martin Muniz was charged in January for allegedly shooting four people in the head in different rooms of the same house in Cleveland.
69-year-old Miguel Gonzalez, the defendant’s father; 34-year-old Angelic Gonzalez, his sister; and her 16-year-old son Jayden Baez were all pronounced dead at the scene. A 48-year-old man later died at an area hospital; his 8-year-old daughter was critically wounded.
Meanwhile, The Courier-Post now reports the Camden County Prosecutor's Office as saying Muniz recently confessed to killing 45-year-old Jaime Molina in Camden on October 30, 2013.
In admitting to the Camden murder, Muniz told police he had shot Molina in the face near North Fifth and Cedar Streets.
Back in Ohio, Muniz is facing two dozen charges and is being held in lieu of $5 million bond.
The public is reminded that charges are allegations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
