Man Arrested in Delaware, Charged With Fatal Shooting in Cherry Hill
Authorities say a man has been arrested and charged for his role in a fatal shooting in Cherry Hill earlier this month.
Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill Mayer and Cherry Hill Police Chief William Monaghan say 26-year-old Tymere Brown of Cherry Hill has been charged with one count of first-degree murder, one count of second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, and one count of second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
Mayer's office says,
Police were called to an apartment complex on the 1700 block of Abbey Road on April 4 around 4:30 a.m. for a report of a shooting in the parking lot. When they arrived, they found Leopold McKoy, 64, of Bear, D.E., suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. McKoy was pronounced dead at the scene.

Empress Gibson, who lives at that apartment complex, told KYW-TV, "I was shocked. I came to the window, I just see him laying on the ground."
According to Mayer, multiple witnesses identified Brown as the shooter.
Brown was located at an apartment in Wilmington, DE, on Wednesday evening and he was arrested by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
Brown is currently being held in a detention facility awaiting extradition to New Jersey.
All persons charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
