Major Fire At Harbor Crossings Mobile Homes In Egg Harbor Township, NJ
This has been a very busy time for the Egg Harbor Township Volunteer Professional Fire Department.
There is another major fire in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey.
The fire occurred at the mobile home community, Harbor Crossing. It was formally known as The Estates of Pleasantville, despite it being physically located in Egg Harbor Township.
There was a fully engaged fire when the Bargaintown and Cardiff Fire Companies arrived on the scene.
The Atlantic City International Airport Fire Department also responded and materially assisted.
We spoke with Galloway Township Councilman Tom Bassford, who personally observed the fire. He explained that it appeared as if two homes were on fire.
We have confirmed that everyone got out, with no injuries. Sadly, we have been advised that one of the owners lost two urns in today’s fire that contained her parent's ashes.
We have also confirmed that Egg Harbor Township Mayor Paul Hodson is at the scene of the fire.
The Harbor Crossings community is located near The Walmart Superstore, between the Black Horse Pike and Tilton Road.
Here are more photos from today’s fire.
This is a developing story. Updates as warranted.
