I planned so poorly again this summer, because it's been on my list of 'things to do in New Jersey' for so long, but with work, a birthday dinner, and football starting Sunday, my weekend is booked. Shame on me, because 'The Original New Jersey Sunflower Maze', Sussex County Sunflower Maze, only welcomes visitors through September 13th.

If you've never heard of the Sussex County Sunflower Maze, check out the video below from NJ.com. It's so cool looking and fun for the entire family. And, if you choose to visit this upcoming weekend, you can be reassured precautions to keep you safe are in place. Masks are required for entry and exit of the maze, and anytime you can't manage 6 feet of social distancing. The maze's official website says they sunflower paths have been moved 7 feet wide to give you plenty of room.

Super neat, right? Feels like a very pre-fall kind of thing to do, and something different! If you're interested in making the drive, the Sussex County Sunflower Maze is located on Liberty Farm, 101 Route 645, Sandyston, NJ. Admission information can be found here.
