Justin Bieber Says Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun’s Feud Is ‘Other People’s Drama’
Justin Bieber clarified his stance on Taylor Swift's feud with manager Scooter Braun.
On Tuesday (October 15), the "Sorry" singer commented on his fall out with the pop star, but didn't exactly have much to say other than it's "other people's drama." He was asked whether he and Swift are "homies" following an Instagram Live Hailey Baldwin posted that sees him seemingly mock her recent post-surgery banana video.
"We've always been cool. Other people's drama is not my drama!" he told paparazzi.
Check out Bieber's reaction in the video, below:
As previously reported, Bieber found himself caught in the middle of Swift and Braun's feud over the summer. It all started when the "Lover" hitmaker called Braun a bully in a scathing Tumblr post, in which she also claimed he bought Big Machine Records (and now owns the masters to her six albums) just to spite her.
"For years I asked, pleaded for a chance to own my work," she wrote at the time. "All I could think about was the incessant, manipulative bullying I've received at his hands for years."
"Now Scooter has stripped me of my life's work, that I wasn't given an opportunity to buy. Essentially, my musical legacy is about to lie in the hands of someone who tried to dismantle it," she continued." This is my worst case scenario. This is what happens when you sign a deal at 15."
Bieber immediately came to Braun defense on Instagram, writing, "For you to take it to social media and get people to hate on Scooter isn't fair. What were you trying to accomplish by posting that blog? Seems to me like it was to get sympathy. You also knew that in posting that your fans would go and bully Scooter."
Based on his new comments, it looks like Bieber wants no part in this narrative anymore.
