Was it you? Winning $50,000 lottery ticket sold at busy NJ Wawa
For one lucky person in the Garden State, running into Wawa became a very lucrative proposition over the weekend.
That's because they entered the store with a couple of bucks in their pocket and left with $50,000.
And probably a cup of coffee. It was Wawa, after all.
According to officials with the New Jersey Lottery, a winning "$50,000 Loaded" scratch-off lottery ticket was sold this past Sunday, September 15th, and the big jackpot was hit — $50,000.
Those scratch-off tickets, by the way, are $30 each, which means the winner got a 166,500% return on their investment. Don't you wish you could get that on your 401k?
That winning ticket was sold at Wawa on Somerdale Road in Blackwood, Camden County.
