Was it You? Someone in South Jersey Just Won $4 Million Playing the NJ Lottery
Someone in the Garden State is about to have the best Groundhog's Day ever since they just won $4 million playing the lottery.
For Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing, one ticket sold in Massachusetts matched all five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball that was drawn making someone in that state $31 million richer (before taxes, of course).

However, closer to home, officials with the New Jersey Lottery said one second-tier prizewinning ticket matched all five white balls that were drawn, making that little slip of paper worth $1 million.
And even better, that ticket was purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prize to $4 million.

That winning ticket was purchased at One Stop Shoppe on the White Horse Pike in Atco, Camden County.
The winning numbers for the Tuesday, January 31st, drawing were 07, 09, 18, 29, and 39. The Gold Mega Ball was 13 and the Megaplier Multiplier was 04.
South Jersey's hot streak
Just one day prior to a big Mega Millions win in South Jersey, several winning tickets were sold for Monday night's Powerball lottery drawing.
Lottery officials said a total of five tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Power Ball drawn for the Monday, January 30th, drawing.
Each of those tickets is worth $50,000 -- except for one, which is worth $100,000 because it was purchased with the Power Play option.
Those winning tickets were sold at the following locations:
- Atlantic County: Sunoco, 6501 Delilah Rd., Egg Harbor Township ($100,000)
- Atlantic County: Shore True Value Hardware, 515 New Rd., Somers Point ($50,000)
- Burlington County: BJ’s Deli, 115 Creek Rd., Mount Laurel ($50,000)
- Camden County: Froggies Discount Liquors, 1009 White Horse Pike, Oaklyn ($50,000)
- Monmouth County: Welsh Farms, 22 Wall St., West Long Branch ($50,000)
The winning numbers for the Monday, January 30th, Powerball drawing were 01, 04, 12, 36, and 49. The Red Power Ball number was 05. The Power Play was 2X.
