Authorities say a woman from Vineland was killed and three others, including a child, were injured late Thursday afternoon on a notoriously dangerous roadway in Hamilton Township.

The accident happened at around 5:45 on Millville Avenue at the S-curve near Pittsburgh Avenue.

According to the Hamilton Township Police Department, 34-year-old Kerry Forest of Vineland was traveling eastbound on Millville Avenue when she allegedly struck the eastbound guardrail, which caused her SUV to cross the center line, where she hit a Honda CRV being driven by 50-year-old Kelly Connor of Vineland.

The collision continued into a 2021 Jeep Gladiator being driven by 44-year-old Todd Ruymen of Vineland.

Forest suffered fatal injuries from the crash.

Connor and Ruymen were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A five-year-old passenger in one of the vehicles was flown to Cooper University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and was last reported to be in stable condition.

Traffic was diverted for approximately four hours.
