
4-year-old Hit by Pickup Truck in Vineland, NJ

- He was flown to Cooper Trauma Center with serious injuries

Child Hit by Pickup Truck at Malaga Camp
Authorities in Cumberland County say a young child was seriously injured when he was struck by a pickup truck.
The incident happened around 4:40 Thursday afternoon on the grounds of the Malaga Camp on North Delsea Drive.
The Vineland Police Department says a 2011 Dodge Ram pick-up truck, which was being driven by 44-year-old Timothy Cooper of Vineland, was heading northbound through the campground when he struck a 4-year-old boy, who was riding a pedal toy vehicle in the road at a low speed.
Boy Airlifted to Cooper Trauma Center
Due to his injuries, he was flown to Cooper Trauma Center in Camden for treatment.
In a press release on Friday morning, authorities did not provide an update on the child's condition.
Investigation Continues; No Charges Filed
No charges have been filed and the crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Ofc. Morales with the Vineland Police Department's Traffic Unit.
