A man wanted for his alleged role in a robbery in Atlantic City earlier this month was arrested on a train in Egg Harbor City Monday morning.

According to the Atlantic City Police Department, 30-year-old Manuel Alicea of Galloway was charged after an investigation into the assault of a man who was struck with a handgun on the 1100 block of Arctic Avenue on August 14th. During the assault, police say Alicea stole the victim's belongings and attempted to steal his bicycle.

Monday morning, August 26th, authorities learned that Alicea was at the Atlantic City Train Station with a woman.

Police determined the New Jersey Transit train that Alicea was on had already departed Atlantic City, it had left the Absecon station before officers arrived there, however, cops were able to hold the train at the next stop in Egg Harbor City where he was taken into custody and allegedly found with a loaded gun.
