Man From Philadelphia Charged For Fatal Shooting in Camden, NJ
A man from Philadelphia has been arrested and charged in connection to a fatal shooting in Camden.
Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay's office says 23-year-old Myles Nicholson was charged with first-degree murder and weapons offenses in the death of 31-year-old Stefan Shaw of Maple Shade.
At around 4:00 Tuesday afternoon, Camden County Police Department officers responded to the area of 27th and Federal in Camden after hearing gunfire.
Officers located a vehicle that had been shot and a victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim, Shaw, was taken to Cooper University Hospital and later pronounced dead.
Following an investigation, Nicholson was taken into custody by detectives later that day in New Castle County, DE. He was transported to the local jail pending an extradition hearing.
