Medford, NJ, Woman Pleads Guilty to 1980s Sexual Assault of Young Boy
Authorities in Burlington County say a 61-year-old woman from Medford Township has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a young boy over several years beginning in the early 1980s.
- Katherine Clements pleaded guilty to second-degree sexual assault
- She faces up to a decade in prison, which will ultimately be determined by a judge
- Details of the case are being withheld to protect the identity of the victim
Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia Bradshaw's office says an investigation began in 2018 after the victim contacted the Medford Township Police Department to report the assaults.
The investigation confirmed the victim’s allegation that the assaults occurred over a nine-year period.
Sentencing is scheduled for May 5th.
