2 Charged After Prostitution Investigation at Business in Mays Landing, NJ
Two people have been charged following a prostitution investigation at a business in Mays Landing.
The Hamilton Township Police Department says at about 10:00 Wednesday morning, its officers executed a search warrant at Waterfall Therapy, a massage business located on the Black Horse Pike in the Festival at Mays Landing shopping center.
The warrant was the result of a lengthy and detailed investigation into allegations of prostitution occurring at the establishment, according to officials.
Two Women Charged
As a result of the operation, two women, 50-year-old Cuie Chen and 60-year-old Wen‑Juin Zhou, were taken into custody.
They were each charged with third-degree prostitution and third-degree conspiracy to commit prostitution. Both were released on summons.
Ironic Search Result
A simple Google search of the business yields, "Asian massag [sic] with happy ending."
It is not known if the establishment is aware of the slang meaning behind that phrase.
Investigation Continues
This investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Township of Hamilton Police Department.
The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
