Four people from Philadelphia have been charged in connection to a shooting in Atlantic City this past weekend.

At about 4:30 early Sunday morning, July 28th, the Atlantic City Police Department says their officers were called to the 2400 block of Atlantic Avenue for a report of a shooting.

At the scene, authorities found a wounded 31-year-old man from Linwood, who was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury.

Officers determined that several men became involved in an argument with staff and patrons at a local bar.

The men entered a vehicle and a passenger fired a gunshot from inside the vehicle. Officers were able to obtain a description of the fleeing vehicle and suspects. Officer Moustafa Maarouf later located the suspect vehicle in the first block of north North Carolina Avenue.

Police say two occupants, 19-year-old Javier Saloma and 38-year-old Felix Gomez-Villa, both from Philadelphia, were taken into custody and a loaded gun and evidence of gunfire were located inside the vehicle.

Detectives identified two additional suspects, 22-year-old Alexis Jeromino Torres and 23-year-old Carlos Medina Morales, also both from Philadelphia.

On July 29th, Jeromino Torres was arrested in the 2900 block of Atlantic Avenue in Atlantic City. The following day, Medina Morales surrendered to police at the public safety building.
