Mays Landing, N.J. — A Mays Landing man is facing a few years in prison on drug-related charges.

On Tuesday, 31-year-old Kasson Fundenberg pleaded guilty to three separate counts of third-degree possession of controlled dangerous substances with the intent to distribute.

His plea deal calls for a recommended sentence of three years in state prison on each count to run concurrently with each other.

Three Incidents

According to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office, on December 26th of last year, Atlantic City police officers saw Fundenberg hand a woman a "small white object consistent with packaged heroin in exchange for money." She was found with 108 wax folds containing fentanyl. Fundenberg was found to have $34 from the drug deal.

On January 13th, Atlantic City police officers saw Fundenberg drop a clear plastic bag from his pocket containing a white rock-like substance consistent with cocaine. Officers placed Fundenberg into custody. The plastic bag containing approximately 5.31 grams of cocaine was seized from his pocket along with $395 cash.

On March 17th, cops in Atlantic City saw Fundenberg, who had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court. He was stopped and taken into custody. 37 wax folds of fentanyl (.26 grams) and 12 clear vials of cocaine (.46 grams) were found in his sweatshirt, as well as $47 cash.

Sentencing Scheduled for July

Sentencing is scheduled for July 21st.
