
House Heavily Damaged by Fire in Egg Harbor Township, NJ
Tuesday Morning Update
The Egg Harbor Township Police Department has released some new information about Monday's fire at 207 Laguna Drive.
- After determining that no one was inside, two Egg Harbor Twp. police officers were able to rescue a dog from the burning house.
- Paramedics at the scene assisted one firefighter who was injured inside the home.
- Police say the fire appears to be accidental, likely caused by a heating unit in the home's attic.

A large house in Egg Harbor Township was heavily damaged by fire Monday afternoon.
The blaze broke out in the middle of the afternoon at a home on the 200 block of Laguna Drive near Harbor Pines Golf Club.
At the scene, crews from multiple area fire departments were battling the fire in temperatures that were right around freezing.
Smoke could be seen rising from the home as crews worked from multiple sides of the structure.
Due to limited information released so far, it is not yet known how the fire started or if there were any injuries. This story will be updated as more details become available.
