Best Lobster Meals In Atlantic City – Atlantic County, NJ Areas

We’re revisiting the best lobster dishes available in the Atlantic City - Atlantic County, New Jersey area.

Our listeners, readers, family foodies and friends were wonderful and previously sent us their favorite lobster dishes.

We’ve received a bunch of great ones that we are sharing with you in this report.

There is just one qualifier. To qualify for inclusion in this review, the meal must include a lobster ingredient.

Originally introduced to me by my Daughter, Kristin Hurley Baker … without question, my favorite seafood meal of all-time is prepared by Steve & Cookies by The Bay in Margate, New Jersey.

The above is called Seafood Pan Roast. 

It may be the most perfect seafood meal ever made.

It has everything … balance … proportion … it includes:

A Lobster Tail, 2 huge shrimp, 2 scallops and a nice portion of jumbo lump crab meat.

It is a spectacular meal and consistently prepared each and every time.

Capriccio’s delicious dish is comprised of:

Lobster, scallops, shrimp, crabmeat simmered in olive oil, red onion, capers, garlic, over a perfect fed of linguini.

See below, this great meal which is comprised of:

2 LB. Maine Lobster, Drawn Butter, Maine Lobster Pot, Shrimp, Clams, Mussels, Andouille Sausage, Corn and Spicy Seafood Broth.

Wow.

The Seafood Tower at Dock’s Oyster House in Atlantic City is just wonderful.

Speaking of incredible Seafood Towers … here I am (below) enjoying The Seafood Tower at The Chart House … at The Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino.

It was just perfect.

Just look at these twin lobster tails that are available at Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse at The Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City.

Vic & Anthony’s General Manager Sal Spena describes them as “18 ounce cold water Australian Lobster Tails.”

I have had the privilege to sample the above. The taste and texture was sheer perfection.

Steve and Cookies makes our list twice as “Mike Man” submitted the following:

“Steve and Cookies has an awesome chilled seafood platter that includes lobster tail. The entirety of the dish, including the sauces, is what makes it amazing. I wish they would put that on their regular menu,” wrote Mike Man.

Steve and Cookies makes it three different lobster dishes with Anthony Phillips writing us, “Steve and Cookies French fried cold water lobster tail by a mile.”

The Dougherty Family also makes our lobster list twice as:

Scott Stetzer submitted The (Lobster) Thermidor at The Knife and Fork, saying that it “is always special!”

Make that three times for The Dougherty Family, too … as Diane Scull Conover selected the Linwood Country Club Whole Lobster Cocktail. “Amazing.”

Lauren Hurley Lauriello, “Really enjoys the butter poached lobster risotto from Hell's Kitchen” at Caesars Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City.

It is comprised of:

Butter poached lobster tail, truffle risotto and crispy onions.

Karen Hurley McDonald and Don P. Hurley selected The Lobster Roll at The Water Dog Smoke House in Ventnor, New Jersey.

It is also my favorite lobster roll if all-time. It’s perfect.

That’s a whole Maine lobster in the perfect lobster roll sandwich pictured above.

The Water Dog Smoke House owner Steve Marchel provided us with a great lobster roll sandwich tutorial:

"A Connecticut Style Lobster Roll, which is poached in warm butter, as opposed to a Maine Roll which is dressed with seasoned mayo. No Mayo, No Fillers. Just knuckle, claw AND tail meat. All served in a top-cut toasted roll served with potato salad and our tarragon aioli on the side,” said Marchel.

Marchel’s other establishment, “Betty’s Seafood Shack” offers the Maine style lobster roll. Betty’s is now closed for the off season … The Water Dog is open year-round.

FUN FACT: The very first lobster roll was created in 1929 by Perry's, located in Milford, Connecticut.

"Don't sleep on Chef Mohammed Baghat's seafood creations at the Golden Pyramid. His stuffed Salmon with Lobster Saffron sauce, Egyptian Flounder, Spanish Seafood Paella! If you know - you know," wrote Piotrowski.

Johnny Rodio has an amazing on site catering service … they also do take out catering as well.

“Our split and grilled 4-5 ounce tails marinated in our own special blend of seasonings. Served with melted butter,” said Rodio.
