Atlantic County, NJ, Sheriff Announces Large Number of Arrests

Atlantic County, New Jersey Sheriff Joseph O’Donoghue has announced that a significant number of arrests were recently made by his law enforcement agency.

This comes on the heels of yesterday’s announcement of the capture of a “Most Wanted,”Stephen Mays on FAILURE TO PAY CHILD SUPPORT in the amount of $415,025.15.

The Atlantic County Sheriff’s Department is asking if you have information on the whereabouts of persons who are wanted by this agency, you may contact them 24 hours a day at (609) 909-7200.

Here are the recent arrests made by the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Department as follows:

Aug 30, 2024: Ceara S. Mercado, 25, a resident of Atlantic City, was arrested in Atlantic City by S/O B. Kempton on a municipal warrant issued by Atlantic City Joint in the amount of $1,500.00.

Aug 30, 2024: Charles Simpson, 46, a resident of Atlantic City, was arrested in Atlantic City by S/O B. Kempton on 2 non support warrants totaling $36,282.43.

Sept 03, 2024: Stephen Mays, 61, a resident of Egg Harbor Twp., was arrested in Atlantic City by S/O V. Esher and S/O K. Bordonaro on non-support in the amount of $415,025.15.

Sept 04, 2024: Diana Acevedo, 44, a resident of Atlantic City, was arrested in Atlantic City by Det. B. Martyn, Det. P. Burgan and Det. K. Borlandoe on a Superior Court warrant for Conspiracy and Theft by Unlawful Taking.

Sept 04, 2024: Samirah L. Wilson, 25, a resident of Atlantic City, was arrested in Atlantic City by Det. P. Burgan and Det. K. Borlandoe on 8 Superior Court warrants for Receiving Stolen Property, Theft, Unlawful Taking Means of Conveyance, Resist, Terroristic Threats, Aggravated Assault, Criminal Mischief, Possession of a Weapon, Burglary Tools, Shoplifting and Burglary.

Sept 05, 2024: Christian Daniels, 33, a resident of Egg Harbor City, was arrested in Egg Harbor City by Det. K. Borlandoe and Det. B. Martyn on a Superior Court warrant for Conspiracy and Theft by Unlawful Taking.

Sept 05, 2024: Angelo D. Depiano, 37, a resident of Absecon, was arrested in Atlantic City by Det. J. Corsetti, S/O J. Pennington and S/O A. Marcucci on 2 Superior Court warrants for Possession of CDS and a non support warrant in the amount of $7,330.00.

Sept 05, 2024: Jesse D. Landicini, 29, a resident of Beachwood, was arrested in Hammonton by Det. K. Borlandoe, Det. B. Martyn and S/O T. Paige on non support in the amount of $8,463.00 and 2 municipal warrants issued by Hammonton totaling $1,500.00.

Sept 09, 2024: Muhammad Butt, 37, a resident of Atlantic City, was arrested in Atlantic City by Det. J. Gallagher and Det. M. Brown on a Superior Court warrant for Terroristic Threats.

Sept 09, 2024: Orlando Perez, 37, a resident of Atlantic City, was arrested in Atlantic City by Det. K. Borlandoe, Det. B. Martyn and S/O J. Pennington on a Superior Court warrant for Obstruct Admin of Law.

Sept 09, 2024: Naimah Santiago, 21, a resident of Galloway, was arrested in Galloway by Det. J. Gallagher and Det. M. Brown on a Superior Court warrant for Receiving Stolen Property and a municipal warrant issued by County Central in the amount of $1,000.00.

Sept 11, 2024: William C. Lott, 33, a resident of Linwood, was arrested in Linwood by Det. J. Gallagher and Det. M. Brown on non support in the amount of $9,695.87.

Sept 11, 2024: Jasir Turner, 23, a resident of Atlantic City, was arrested in Atlantic City by Det. J. Gallagher and Det. M. Brown on 3 Superior Court warrants for Possession of CDS and Money Laundering.
