
United Atlantic County, NJ Political Party Elects County Chairman
Facing the formidable task of two consecutive consequential election cycles … A united Atlantic County, New Jersey, Republican Party has re-elected its Chairman to a new term in office.

Purdy ran unopposed for a new 4-year term. In addition to Purdy, the Atlantic County Republican Committee elected the following officers:
- Terry Lucarelli of Galloway Township was elected Vice Chairwoman. She previously served as Secretary.
- Councilwoman Carolyn Bucci of Northfield was elected Secretary.
- Councilman J.D. Calderone of Hammonton was elected Treasurer.
Chairman Purdy Appointments

Purdy also reappointed: Absecon Councilman Nick LaRotonda as Executive Director of the Atlantic County Republican Party. LaRotonda previously served in this important role, prior to accepting an appointment with the United States President Trump Administration as Director of Advance and “Bodyman” to U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.

Atlantic County GOP
The newly elected leadership reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the Republican Party throughout Atlantic County, supporting Republican candidates at every level, and building on the organization's recent successes heading into the upcoming election cycle, said the Atlantic County Republican Party organization.
2026 General Election
The Atlantic County Republican Party is defending Atlantic County Clerk, Atlantic County Sheriff, several Atlantic County Commissioner and a number of local seats.
