Atlantic City High School Principal – Pleads in Child Abuse Case

The currently suspended Atlantic City, New Jersey High School Principal was in court on Thursday, October 3, 2024.

This was Days-Chapman’s official arraignment day, with regards to her Wednesday, September 11, 2024, Days-Chapman indictment by an Atlantic County Grand Jury on:

• five counts of second-degree Official Misconduct.
• one count of second-degree Pattern of Official Misconduct.
• one count of second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
• one count of third-degree Hindering Apprehension of Another.

Days-Chapman is facing considerably more charges than Marty and La’Quetta Small.

By direct comparison, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office previously confirmed the following about Marty and La’Quetta Small.

“On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, Marty Small, Sr., 50, and his wife, La'Quetta Small, 47, of Atlantic City, NJ were both indicted for second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Marty Small, Sr. was also indicted for third-degree Terroristic Threats, and third-degree Aggravated Assault” said the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Marty and La’Quetta Small will be in court on Thursday, October 10, 2024 to be arraigned.

Day-Chapman attorney Lee Vartan said in court that his client has not been charged with a crime by the state.

Vartan is an elite attorney, one of the best in New Jersey.

However, Days-Chapman has been charged with many serious crimes.

It looks like the strategy is to try and make Days-Chapman flip on Marty and La’Quetta Small.

At an Atlantic City Hall press conference called by Marty Small after his home was raided by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office … Small declared that he, his wife and Days-Chapman cannot be divided.

Days-Chapman was immediately suspended following direct criminal charges being filed by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Two weeks later, Marty and La’Quetta Small were direct criminally charged by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.

All three have now been indicted by an Atlantic County Grand Jury.
