96th Atlantic City vs. Holy Spirit Thanksgiving 2024 Game is Set

This is the first Atlantic City vs. Holy Spirit Thanksgiving Day football game without Frank Campo in more than 50 years.

Frank Campo passed away during 2024, leaving behind his wife of 49 years, Karin Graham Campo and his family; Michael and Colleen, Matthew and Jenna; as well as his grandchildren, Dominic, Olivia, and Gracie … along with many friends.

Campo had such profound respect for the tradition and storied history of the 96-year Thanksgiving Day rivalry game.

It is my sincere hope that the Atlantic City Board of Education will step up and honor Frank Campo, as he is so deserving of appropriate recognition for his many decades of faithful service to the Atlantic City public school system

This year’s game will be played at Holy Spirit High School, at Ed Byrnes Stadium.

Holy Spirit High School brings a 9-2 record to the Thanksgiving Day game and Atlantic City has an 8-3 record.

I will present a $ 1,000 grant to Holy Spirit High School from The Hurley in the Morning Charity (to Steve Normane) during the 9:00 a.m. hour.

Kick-off for the 96th Annual game is 10:00 a.m.

Atlantic City holds the overall lead in the series 52-39-4 however, Holy Spirit has won 16 of the past 21 games… Including the past six years in a row.
