Three men from Egg Harbor City have been charged in connection to a homicide in a South Jersey mall parking lot on Black Friday 2016.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office says last Wednesday, August 7th, 30-year-old Steven Martinez, 27-year-old Timothy Davis, and 30-year-old Malik Boone, all from Egg Harbor City, were charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and weapons offenses.

Martinez and Davis are currently incarcerated; Boone is a fugitive at large.

Authorities say during the overnight hours of Black Friday, November 25th, 2016, officers with the Hamilton Township Police Department responded to the parking lot of the Hamilton Mall outside of Macy's for reports of shots fired.

At the scene, cops found two people suffering from gunshot wounds. One of those individuals, 21-year-old Demond Cottman, was pronounced dead at the scene. His brother, 26-year-old Shadi Cottman of Clayton, was suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg.

This incident was investigated by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office’s Major Crimes Unit and the Hamilton Township Police Department.
