The popular Savannah Bananas baseball team made their way to Citizens Bank Park on Saturday night, playing in front of a sold-out crowd.

The Bananas, and their now famous brand of "Banana Ball" treated the crowd to plenty of surprises, including a chance to see four former Phillies, who played for the 2008 World Series champions.

Former centerfielder Shane Victorino, who has played with the Bananas in the past, stepped to the plate and grounded out. The "Flyin' Hawaiian got a big ovation from the Philadelphia crowd, but it certainly wasn't the biggest of the night.

The biggest ovation of the night was 2005 Rookie of the Year and 2006 MVP, Ryan Howard, who hit a league-leading 48 home runs and drove in a league-high 146 runs during the team's 2008 World Series season.

Howard came walking to the plate, covered in a banana-colored robe with a hood that kept his identity hidden.  When his name was announced and he revealed his identity, the crowd went ballistic.

Howard struck out on three pitches, but it was fun to see him walk to the plate one more time.

Two other 2008 Phillies appeared in the game, pitchers Joe Blanton and Jamie Moyer.

Moyer, 61, came to the mound with a nice ovation from the fans and the crafty lefty became the oldest MLB player to record a win at 49 with the Colorado Rockies.

Moyer came in and recorded one out, a ground ball to short, to finish the inning.

Finally, another Phillies pitcher, Joe Blanton, who came over in a trade from Oakland during the 2008 season. He is remembered for his home run in the World Series Game 4 win over the Tampa Bay Rays, also earning the win on the mound.

Blanton got a ground ball out to first base to end the inning.

The Bananas' adversary, the Party Animals won the game 3-2.
