Anyone who listens to the show knows I enjoy supporting local breweries.

It has become somewhat of a hobby for me and some friends; we will check out local brews at breweries, and even during my travels, I will research where the breweries are in different towns, and even when I travel overseas.

The Long Road to Opening in Absecon

One brewery I have had my eye on is Royal Bine Brewing in Absecon, which hasn't opened yet, but apparently is getting closer.  They were originally slated to open in 2020, but still have not opened the physical brewery; they have brewed beer, which is on tap at least four places.

They seemed like they were getting closer to opening, with a target of Memorial Day Weekend, but that did not happen.

Many fans of local breweries have been wondering when, in fact, Royal Bine Brewing would be opening their tasting room, and there might be at least a little clarity.

A question was asked by someone on Facebook named Ralph, asking, Has anything been said as to when the Brewery on NJ Ave. will be opening? Can't wait.

He was asking about Royal Bine Brewing, which, when it opens, will be located at 102 New Jersey Avenue in Absecon with a brewhouse, Taproom & Outdoor beer garden

Kenny Ward, one of the owners of Royal Bine Brewing Company, answered the question in this social media post.

Straight From the Owner: What’s Holding Up Royal Bine?

Hey Ralph. This is Kenny, the owner. We are ready to brew; however, we are waiting on our ABC application to get approved. Without that, we can't do a thing besides wait! We have some people in Atlantic County lobbying to get this process expedited however, it's a waiting game now. Hopefully, within the next month, we get the thumbs up and temporary license. It'll take up another 3-6 weeks to get the beer made and ready to serve. We will open with approximately 8 beers, a seltzer, and hard tea to start. We will have a series of "soft" openings to get our stuff right, as first impressions are huge. My daughter and I can't wait to be part of the downtown revitalization and vibe, as the township council & mayor have been amazing thru this LONG journey, but our plans are big! Look forward to sharing pints with you and all locals! Thanks for asking

I know as soon as they open, I will be checking out Royal Bine Brewing. I have not tried any of their beers yet, but I look forward to it.

Have you tried any of their beer?  Let us know in the comment section on social media.
