Ocean City, New Jersey Memorabilia Show Welcomes Philly Sports Legends
The sixth annual Sports Memorabilia Show returns to the Ocean City Music Pier with collector's items and merchandise on sale along with a couple of Philadelphia Sports Hall of Famers in attendance.
The 2024 edition of the Ocean City Sports Memorabilia Show is on Saturday, April 20th with Free Admission from 10 am to 4 pm at the Ocean City Music Pier. There will be Free Parking at the adjacent municipal lots off the Boardwalk at Moorlyn Terrace, Eighth Street, and Ninth Street.
What Philadelphia Sports Legends Will Attend Ocean City Memorabilia Show
The two Philadelphia Sports Legends who will be in attendance at this year's Sports Memorabilia Show are former Eagles Wide Receiver Mike Quick and former Flyer Mark Howe.
Mike Quick was the 20th overall pick in the 1982 NFL Draft and played his entire nine-year career with the Philadelphia Eagles. Quick was elected to the Pro Bowl five times and was a two-time First Team All-Pro Selection. Quick is top five all-time in Eagles Franchise History in Receiving Yards (6,464) and Receiving Touchdowns (61).
Mark Howe played 10 of his 16 NHL seasons for the Philadelphia Flyers. Howe was a three-time NHL All-Star during his years playing for the Flyers. He has the second-best career Plus/Minus in Philadelphia Franchise History (+351) and also the tenth most Assists in Flyers History (342). Howe was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2011.
Both Quick and Howe will be a part of a free Question-and-Answer session on the stage of the Ocean City Music Pier. Afterward, the two Philadelphia Sports Legends will be available for meet-and-greets with the fans. For 20 dollars per person, fans will have the opportunity to get an autograph from and photo with Mike Quick and Mark Howe.
