Who Are The Best Young Athletes In Philadelphia Sports In 2024?

The 2024 Calendar Year is an exciting time for Philadelphia Sports Fans.  This is the first time in decades that all four major professional sports teams are must-watch and are playoff contenders.

The Philadelphia Phillies are proving to be the best team in Major League Baseball during the 2024 season.  Having won 32 of this first 40 games at Citizens Bank Park, this version of the Phillies have the fans flooding to the ballpark to see a team hoping to make a return to the World Series.

After starting the 2023 NFL season with a 10-1 record, the Eagles collapsed and had a miserable end to last season.  After purging most of the coaching staff, Eagles Head Coach Nick Sirianni is now walking into the 2024 NFL Season with two veteran coordinators: Kellen Moore will be calling the offense and Vic Fangio will be directing the defense.

Sixers President of Basketball Daryl Morey has overhauled the 76ers' roster after a disappointing 2023-24 NBA season.  Adding Six-time All-NBA Team selection Paul George to a team with former NBA MVP Joel Embiid and Rising Star Tyrese Maxey, Philadelphia Basketball Fans are hoping this upcoming season is finally the year they get past the Second Round of the NBA Playoffs.

The Philadelphia Flyers were a pleasant surprise during the 2023-24 season, almost reaching the NHL Playoffs for the first time since 2020.  Flyers Head Coach John Tortorella along with General Manager Daniel Briere and Flyers President Keith Jones have changed the culture of the organization.  With Russian Prospect Matvai Michkov coming to America and making his debut next season, Flyers fans are excited for what the team can do moving forward.
