It's always nice to see some local flavor getting some national recognition.

Beli Eats is a popular restaurant-rating app and online food platform for people who love restaurants.

They also make lists, which we love, so when it came down to listing the Italian restaurants in the United States, we were curious to find out if any local South Jersey Italian Restaurants made their list.

Local Atlantic City Favorites Earn National Honors

The answer is not one, but two Atlantic City restaurants, famous for their Italian fare, made the list which compiled over 70 million ratings to compile this list, hardly a small sample size.

Cafe 2825: Table-Side Dining and Southern Italian Flavors

Cafe 2825, at 2825 Atlantic Ave in Atlantic City, is known for its table-side preparations and from-scratch Southern Italian menu, which came in at No. 4 overall on the list. Recently, the restaurant was visited by comedian Sebastian Maniscalco, who was in town entertaining fans at Ocean Casino in Atlantic City.

Chef Vola’s: Classic Family-Style Italian with a Hidden Charm

Another place known for feeding famous mouths and star athletes and also making the list, coming in at No. 10, was Chef Vola's at 111 South Albion Place in Atlantic City, a family-style restaurant that serves traditional, home-style Italian fare in a unique setting.
