It seems everyone these days loves a great cup of coffee and if you are looking for some of the best places to get your fix, you've come to the right place.

New Jersey has a ton of coffee shops, there seems to be one popping up every day.

NJ.com writers Jeremy Schneider and Lauren Musni recently dropped their list of the 43 best coffee shops in New Jersey to get the absolute best coffee and two Jersey Shore shops made the list.

The Best Coffee in South Jersey

The two Jersey Shore coffee shops that have been featured on the best-of list on NJ.com are two places I have been to and can say are worth trying.

Coming in at number 43 on the list is Magic Brain Cafe at 31 Perry St, in Cape May.

Looking for coffee near the best beach in New Jersey? Locals and visitors agree, Magic Brain can’t be beat. Their blended beverages like frozen chai and frozen hot chocolate are perfect for cooling off on the beach. Their impressive collection of flavored syrups like cake batter, toasted marshmallow and cookie dough will satisfy the sweetest sweet tooth.

The South Jersey coffee shop that ranked highest on the NJ.com list was Black Turtle Coffee at 3101 Revere Blvd Unit A in Brigantine at No. 35.

Braeden Anderson and Selena Gabrielle were working in business in New York City before they decided to pursue another passion — coffee. They moved to South Jersey and opened Black Turtle Coffee. Their “Blackshell” roast is the shop’s dark roast, a powerful and robust blend strong enough to awake the dead.

While only two coffee shops from our area made the list of 43, there are plenty of others that deserve a mention here.

Here are few other spots you need to check out:

  • Cafe Bru at 333 Tilton Road in Northfield.
  • Ventnor Coffee at 108 N Dorset in Ventnor
  • Jesse's of Linwood at 136 W Poplar Ave in Linwood
  • Jon and Patty's Coffee Bar and Bistro at 637 Asbury Ave in Ocean City
